Disclaimer: I am a believer that crochet is an art form. I do not believe there is a right or wrong way to it. With that said, I may skip a stitch or work something differently than you may have been taught or read in a book. This is just how I do it...

  6. I am working on this afghan now...and it's turning out so pretty because of your easy to follow tutorial. Thank you! May I ask how many squares you made for yours? I was thinking it looked like 48. Or 8 down and 6 across. Is that right? Kate

    1. Hi Kate, I have done so many sizes over the years. You would think I would have exact measurements written down! The square without connecting border is about 7" square. I would add another inch per block and then figure in whatever outer border you decide. I usually do a 5x7 or 6x8 (squares) for a baby sized blanket and an 7x10 for a throw size. I hope that helps!
