Dusting off the old knitting needles

I came across a sweet, little cabled hat pattern awhile ago, but was so obsessed with my crochet hook, that any knitting projects went by the wayside. I pulled some light blue yarn for my baby daisy afghan, but instead, started working on the hat...

It's nice to put one project down for a bit, and switch it up with another - AS LONG AS, they all get done! I hope you have a wonderful week!

  1. I don't think I've knitted since discovering crocheting last year. I should probably dust off my needles, too!

    1. Can you believe I forgot how to cast on?! Obviously, it's been too long, and then I decide to do cables...but I had to make the creative side of my brain happy :)

    1. Hi Vicki, Thanks for stopping by, and for all of you nice comments. I am a yarn-a-holic - can't keep my hands off of any fiber :) I began as a knitter and then learned to crochet. I got so hooked (pun intended), that I hadn't touched my knitting needles in a long time. I love to do both, and it seems sometimes one is better (or just easier to do) than the other. Like creating flowers and motifs - to me it's so much easier to crochet; more creativity personally, but I love the way knitting looks in other instances. Stop by again and happy creating!
